SOYSAMBU CONSERVANCY

Soysambu Conservancy is situated on the shores of Lake Elmenteita, one of the soda lakes in the Rift Valley. The conservancy covers an area of about 48,000 acres and was establidhed in the year 2007. It is also known for its diverse ecosystems, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the lake itself.

The conservancy is known as a home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, and various species of birds. It is also known for its flamingo population on Lake Elmenteita, where these birds are often seen in large numbers.It is dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources.
