Turkana County is county in the north rift valley of Kenya, it is the largest county by size followed by Marsabit. The county boarders’ countries like Uganda to the west, South Sudan to the North and Ethiopia to the Northeast and lake Turkana to the East. Turkana largest and capital is Lodwar.

The county is inhabited by the Turkana people, a Nilotic ethnic group known for their nomadic lifestyle, elaborate clothing style, reliance in livestock for sustenance and also their rich cultural heritage, which involves Traditional, practices, annual festivals and their unique social structure.
