Boxo is approximately 30 kilometre south of Mombasa and is accessible from Nairobi by air landing at the Ukunda Airstrip, by road it is estimated to be 525km taking around 11hour and by the SGR Train it takes 6hours arriving in Mombasa followed by a transfer, crossing the Likoni Ferry from Mombasa Island to the mainland then proced to Diani.
