Elephant Gorge Camp Amboseli

Elephant Gorge Camp is a lodge in Amboseli National Park in Kenya, it is situated 245 km from Nairobi and 8 km from Amboseli national park, 35km from Amboseli main airstrip to the camp and 8 km from private charter flights which is also available. The camp offers stunning panoramic view across the conservancy overlooking mt Kilimanjaro which guest take advantage of. Elephant Gorge is an elephant sanctuary with other wildlife including buffalo, African wild dog, hyena, zebra, lion, cheetah and over 400 bird species.

The camp has 5 rooms & Suites that are themed residences (The Hunter, The Adventure, The Artist, The Bird Watcher& The Moran). The rooms can only accommodate 10-12 guests at a time. Each residence features a bedroom, floor to ceiling windows, dressing facilities and private patio with all round views. The bathrooms are en suite with bath tubs and shower. Also, the camp is not fenced giving gests a thrilling intimate wildlife encounter in the presence of 24hr personalized security.

At the camp guests can get to enjoy local and international dishes at the main lounge beside an open fire, A well-stocked bar that serves a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. The lodge does not have a swimming pool due to free roaming wildlife as water attracts the animals. There is a library shelf with variety of books of animals and wildlife as well as collection of novels. The camp is also connected with internet.
