Kibo Safari Camp

Kibo Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp ideal for self- catering groups along with options of full boar dining set at the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro (The highest mountain in Africa) in Amboseli National Park in Kenya. The camp is located only a 5 minutes drive from the park entry gate and 15 km from Amboseli airstrip. The camp is approximately 260 km from Nairobi a 4 hours’ drive and approximately 30 minutes through flight.

Accommodation includes 73 self-contained tents sheltered by ‘makuti’ roofs. All Rooms are equipped with full- size beds that are custom designed and locally made with bush log. The tents comprise of Single, Double, Triple & Family rooms that are complete with bedding and mosquito netting. All tents have a flush toilet, and wash basin, hot water shower, 240v power sockets and baby cots (additional beds are available if required).

At Kibo private luxury tent is offered either on full board basis or on self-catering basis (there are 4 fully equipped kitchens with chiller & freezer. There is a Koroga Banda, an Italian brick wood-fired pizza oven (come with your own pizza bases and toppings) and a Nyama Choma (BBQ) grill for families and groups (bring your own Nyama/meat). There is high speed wi-fi connectivity, bonfire and 24 hours electricity. Guest who wish to swim can access the main camp swimming pool at Kibo safari camp which is flanked by sunbeds where guests can relax. Other facilities include; lounge 7 bar, dining room, spa\massage available at Kibo safari camp, art gallery, gift\souvenir shop and a conference facility ideal for meetings and corporate events.
