Mara Maisha Camp

Mara Maisha Camp is a luxury tented camp located just 4.5km from Talek Gate of the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp offers fully furnished luxurious units with dining facilities. Also, Mara Maisha Camp is a sister hotel to Kibo Safari Camp and Kibo Private wing of Amboseli National Park in Kenya.

How you can access Mara Maisha Camp

The camp IS 250km from Nairobi, the capital city and can be accessed by either road or air. By road a 4x4 safari vehicle is recommended for traversing the different terrains of Masai Mara which takes an approximately 5-6 hours. By air, daily scheduled flights leave Nairobi, Wilson Airport taking about 45-60minutes and from Mombasa, Moi international Airport taking around 2hrs, landing is usually in the closest airstrip which is Olkiombo Airstrip that is 14km away from the camp.

Safari Accommodation Offered at Mara Maisha

There are 73 self-contained tents and they are able to accommodate guests in; 20 Single/twins, 38 doubles, 9 triples, 6 family tents (Two en suite rooms within one tent accommodating a maximum of five). Beds have been custom designed and are locally made using bush logs. All tents have been fully furnished and fitted with;

• Flush toilets, mosquito nets, hot & cold shower, Clothes rack, carpet, a writing desk, a washing basing and many more.

Dine at the open-terrace restaurant that overlooks the glorious sunrise and the sunsets in the Mara plains. Chefs prepare fine cuisine that is served along with fruits and fresh vegetables hand-picked from the camps organic farm. There is a wonderfully designed bar fully stocked with imported and local liquors along with cold beers, cocktails, sodas, and fresh juices.
