Location and how to get to Olkinyei Tented Camp

The camp sits on the Northern edge of the famous Masai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Talek River, a 20 minutes’ walk and 500meters from the Hippo pool view point. It is approximately 5-6 hours (250km/ 155miles) drive from Nairobi City center to Masai Mara National Park and an hour flight from Nairobi landing to the closest Ol Kiombo airstrip, then a 15km drive to the camp.

The camp consists of 14 spacious and comfortable tents raised on a wooden deck overlooking the Talek River, reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. The camps tents are suitable for families, as well as Individuals as it offers single, double, twin, and triple beds.

The tents are well furnished with en suite amenities like;

• Clean private flushing toilets, hot and cold shower, dressing table, mosquito nets, television, air conditioner, deck chairs, work desks, wooden tables and private verandas. Tents are suitable for families, as well as Individuals with single, double, twin, and triple beds.

Restaurant, Bar & Cocktails experience

The camps restaurant serves guests with African, American and Chinese cuisine, with vegetarians and halal options in buffet or a la carte set up. Meals can be enjoyed at the property, at the bush or Masai Mara plains picnic points. A well-stocked bar with a lounge area is onsite with the camps bar offering local and international beers, wines, spirit and serving some of the most famous cocktails.
