Tipilikwani Mara Camp

Tipilikwani Mara Camp is a luxury Tented Camp located on the banks of the Talek River, 4km upstream from the Talek Gate into the Masai Mara Reserve. The camp overlooks the mottled plains of Masai Mara, where vast herds of wildlife co-exist with the colorful Maasai people. The camp can be accessed either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250km. It takes about 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45minutes. Flights land at Ol Kiombo Airstrip which is about 25min drive from the camp.

There are 20 spacious tented rooms comprising 12 tents with twin queen size beds, 4 tents with king size beds, 4 tents divided into family suites. Each tent is erected on an elevated wooden platform with a wide patio outside and has a wooden chest, mosquito netting, basic wood -crafted seating arrangements, and a dresser with pastoral touch. The tents have en suite bathrooms and the tents are also powered so that guests can get to charge their electronic devices.

Meals are served in buffet and can be enjoyed inside the well-appointed dinning tent, al-fresco, guest tent verandah or under the African sky’s on request. Guests can refresh themselves with drinks at the fully stocked bar as they watch the spectacular African Sunset. Guests can also cool themselves in the hot Mara, and get to enjoy relaxing treatments at the spa/wellness center and sauna. An event facility is present which is appropriate for large occasions such as banquets and weddings.
