Malindi is a town located on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya, approximately 120km north of Mombasa. Malindi is famously known for its tourism industry, with popular attractions such as the Vasco Da Gama Pillar, The Portuguese Chapel, Gedi Ruins, Arabuko-Sokoke forest, Marafa hell’s kitchen, the house of Columns, the Malindi Museum and other more.
The town is known for its classic Swahili architecture buildings which offer modern luxury and a mix of old charm luxury. Malindi has a significant population of Italian residents and tourists making it being referred to as “Little Italy.”
