Rift Valley; This is a geographical deepresion stretching from the southern Turkish "Hataya Provnce" in Asia, through the read sea, to Mozambique in southeast Africa, forming part of the larger East African Rift Valley. The rift is made up of escarpments, Volcanoes and a series of salty lakes which are home to the flamingoes, these lakes include; Lake Trukana, Lake Bogoria, Lake Baringo (Fresh Water), Lake Nakuru, Lake Elaementaita, Lake Naivasha (Fresh Water) & Lake Magadi.
