Your adventure begins with a pick up from your hotel, residence, or JKIA and transfer to Wilson Airport to board your flight. The flight is a scenic trip that takes about 45 minutes, giving you a beautiful bird’s-eye view of the Rift Valley. Since these are light aircraft, please keep in mind that luggage is strictly limited to 15kg per person and must be packed in a soft-sided bag, as hard suitcases with wheels or frames won't fit in the plane's small cargo space. Once you land, our guide and a 4WD Land Cruiser will be waiting at the airstrip to take you straight on your first game drive amd later to your camp. After checking in, enjoy a leisurely Lunch, taking in the views of open plains and the nearby riverine habitats where wildlife congregates. A around 3:30PM head out for an afternoon game drive, focusing on the Mara plains to catch early glimpses of the Wildebeest Migration. You will likely encounter grazing herds, zebras, and the constant presence of predators, including lions and cheetahs, following the migrating herds. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight, enjoying the sounds of the Mara at night from the comfort of your luxury tent.

After an early breakfast, depart the camp for a full-day game drive, carrying a packed lunch to enjoy in the bush. Today is dedicated entirely to tracking the Wildebeest Migration and observing predator-prey interactions in the Mara. Your experienced guide will navigate the plains, seeking river crossings and areas where wildebeest and zebras gather. Morning drives often reward you with dramatic sightings of large herds moving across the plains, while predators such as lions, hyenas, and crocodiles may be encountered at riverbanks. Lunch is served in a scenic, wildlife-rich area, providing the unique experience of dining surrounded by the action of the migration. In the afternoon, continue your exploration of the Mara, witnessing the movement of herds across different grazing zones. The sheer scale of the migration, combined with the Mara’s golden landscapes and wildlife interactions, creates an unforgettable experience. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for a morning game drive, the last opportunity to witness the migration at its best in the cooler morning hours when predators and herbivores are active. After the drive, return to your camp for breakfast and check-out. You will then be transferred to the Mara airstrip for your return light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi, enjoying one last aerial view of the Mara ecosystem. Upon arrival at Wilson, you will be dropped at your hotel, residence, or onward destination, concluding an unforgettable Maasai Mara migration safari.
