Overview
This 3-day fly-in safari is the ultimate time-saver, whisking you from the city to the heart of the Maasai Mara in just 45 minutes. It’s the perfect choice if you’d rather spend your hours tracking lions than sitting through a six-hour road trip. You’ll swap the dusty highway for incredible aerial views of the Great Rift Valley before touching down on a bush airstrip where your safari vehicle will be waiting.
Because you’ll be traveling on a light aircraft, there are a few important things to keep in mind for your flight. These planes have a strict luggage limit of 15kg (33lbs) per person, and this must be packed in soft-sided bags (like duffels) to fit into the plane's compact cargo pods. If you have extra suitcases, we can easily arrange to store them for you in Nairobi so you can travel light and hassle-free.
Once you land, the experience is all about the wildlife. You'll jump straight into game drives to find the Big Five and, if the timing is right, witness the massive herds of the Great Migration. Between drives, you can visit a local Maasai village to learn about their ancient traditions or simply relax at your camp and soak in the sounds of the Savannah. It’s a fast, comfortable, and truly immersive way to see Kenya’s most famous reserve without losing a single moment of your holiday.
Trip Itinerary.
Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. A transfer to Wilson Airport to catch your flight to Masai Mara, flying time is estimated to be 1 hour. Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your camp/lodge with an en route game drive on a 4x4. Enjoy the lodges facilities and panoramic views offered. Late afternoon game drive until in the evening. Dinner and Overnight at your camp/ lodge.
Full day Masai Mara
Early morning game drive which you will get to see most of the Mara’s wildlife and beautiful sunrise scenes (Best time for a Hot Air Balloon safari at an extra cost). Early morning and evening are considered as the best time to spot animals since it’s when they are most active. Return at the lodge for breakfast and relax in the camp by enjoying the amenities offered. Next game drive to take place after lunch or before lunch (Lunch will be served in the bushes). Return to the camp/lodge by the evening in time for a relaxed evening enlivened by entertainment (depending on camp/lodge) followed by dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning game drive further exploring the Masai Mara plains. Return to the camp for a chill relaxed breakfast. Check out of the camp/lodge. Transfer to the airstrip to catch your flight to Nairobi with a short en route game drive as you say good bye to the Masai Mara.
