Skip the long road trip and head straight to the wild on this exclusive 3-day fly-in safari to Samburu National Reserve. Your adventure begins at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, where you’ll board a light aircraft for a scenic 50-60 minute flight. Watching the landscape shift from the city skyline to the rugged, arid beauty of Northern Kenya from above is an experience in itself. Since you'll be traveling in a light aircraft, there is a strict luggage limit of 15kg (33lbs) per person. This weight includes both your checked bag and your hand luggage. The most important rule is to use a soft-sided bag (like a duffel or a backpack). Hard-shell suitcases with rigid frames or wheels often won't fit into the plane's small, irregular luggage pods. Once you land at the bush Samburu airstrip, our team will be there to whisk you away to your lodge. Samburu is a place like no other, famous for its "Special Five"—the rare Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Grevy’s zebra. Between your morning and evening game drives, you’ll witness elephants gathering along the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeblood of this desert landscape. Because this is a fly-in package, you spend more time relaxing at your lodge and less time in transit, making every moment count.

Fly from Nairobi to Samburu
Our representative to pick you up at the Airport, Hotel or Address transferring you to Wilson Airport to catch your scheduled flight to Samburu. Enjoy the scenic views of Kenya from Landscapes, savannah plains, rivers to Mountainous peaks. Upon landing you will be met and transferred to your chosen Camp/ Lodge in Samburu. Check in Hotel, have lunch and relax at leisure. Start of your safari adventure with an afternoon game drive in pursuit of The Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo & Elephant), cheetah, Hyenas, Wild Dogs. In the evening as the sun sets in the West, return to your camp for Dinner and Overnight.

Spend Full Day in Samburu
This day will be dedicated for safari adventure, start of you day with an early morning game drive in search of the wild cats and other herbivores. Morning hours is the best for game viewing because most of the wild animals are active during this time with the sunrise adding on as a cherry on top of the cake. Return to your camp for breakfast then later on leave for an optional mid-morning game safari, a full day game drive leaving with packed lunch for picnic or relax at the Camp/lodge utilizing the facilities & services offered. You can also decide to have a cultural experience by visiting the Samburu people to learn and interact with them (At Extra Cost). Afternoon game drive giving you the opportunity to have a few sight visits such as visiting the Ewaso Nyiro river where you may witness Elephants bathing. After game drive return to the camp for dinner, campfire stories and Overnight at your lodge.

Return to Nairobi
Being your last day, have an optional early morning game drive. After breakfast get to check out and have a short transfer to the nearest Airstrip to catch your flight back to Nairobi. Our representative to pick you up at Wilson Airport and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Your Hotel or Address.
