Your adventure takes you from the dramatic savannahs of Amboseli, renowned for its impressive elephant herds and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, to the palm-fringed shores of Diani Beach, one of Kenya’s most beautiful coastal destinations. In Amboseli, you will explore the park on guided game drives through open plains, wetlands, and woodland, with opportunities to encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and numerous bird species. The combination of abundant wildlife and Kilimanjaro rising in the background creates some of Kenya’s most memorable safari landscapes.

After your safari, the experience changes pace as you head to Diani, where six nights are dedicated to relaxation and coastal discovery. Enjoy the soft white sands, warm turquoise waters, and tropical atmosphere at your beach hotel, with plenty of time to swim, relax, or simply enjoy the Indian Ocean. For those seeking more adventure, optional experiences such as snorkelling, diving, dolphin excursions, dhow trips, kitesurfing, and visits to nearby attractions can be added. This combination of safari and beach gives you the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation—experience Kenya’s wildlife in Amboseli, then slow down and enjoy the coast in Diani.

Day by Day

Trip Itinerary.

Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up by your driver-guide from your hotel or preferred location in Nairobi in the morning and begin your journey to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch before heading out for
your first afternoon game drive.
As you explore the park, you will have the opportunity to see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife, with the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro providing a spectacular backdrop when the weather is clear.
After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli Full Day Safari

After an early breakfast, you will head out for a full-day safari in Amboseli National Park. You will explore different areas of the park in search of its diverse wildlife, with opportunities to encounter the park's famous elephant herds as well as lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hippos and a variety of bird species.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch or lunch at your lodge, depending on the day's arrangements, before continuing with your safari. In the late afternoon, you will return to your lodge to relax and enjoy your final evening in Amboseli.

Day 3

Amboseli NP-Mombasa-Diani

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey from Amboseli to Emali train station where you will board your scheduled train to Mombasa.
Upon arrival at Mombasa train station, your driver will meet you and tranfser you to Diani Beach. Upon arrival in Diani, you will be transferred to your beach resort and assisted with check-in. You can then relax by the pool, take a walk along the beautiful white-sand beach or simply unwind after your safari.

Day 4

Diani Beach-Leisure time

You will enjoy a relaxed day at your beach resort. After breakfast, the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You can spend your time by the swimming pool, relax on the beach or take a refreshing swim in the warm Indian Ocean. Optional activities can also be arranged if you would like to make your day more adventurous.

Day 5

Full Day Beach Relaxation

After breakfast, you will have another full day to enjoy Diani. You may choose to relax at the resort or participate in optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, a dhow experience or a marine excursion.

Day 6

Leisure Day

Today is another opportunity to slow down and enjoy the tropical surroundings of Diani Beach. You can relax at your resort, enjoy the beach or explore the area at your own pace.

Day 7

Optional Excursions

You will have another free day in Diani. If you would like to explore beyond the beach, we can arrange an optional excursion according to your interests, such as a visit to Wasini Island, Shimba Hills National Reserve or a marine activity.

Day 8

Beach Relaxation

Enjoy your final full day in Diani at leisure. Take time to relax, enjoy the beach and make the most of your stay on the Kenyan coast.

Departure; Diani-Mombasa-Nairobi

After breakfast and relaxing, you will check out from your resort and your driver will pick you up and head out to Mombasa train station for your evening train to Nairobi.
