Overview
This 3-day beach holiday is ideal for travelers who want to enjoy the pristine beaches of Malindi and Watamu . Travel comfortably via the SGR train from Nairobi to Mombasa Terminus (First Class or Economy), followed by a shared road transfer of approximately 3 hours to your selected hotel in Malindi or Watamu.
Stay 2 nights at a beach resort. Meal plans depend on the selected hotel. Enjoy leisure time on the beach or at the hotel pool, and take part in optional activities such as dhow boat rides, snorkeling, marine park visits, cultural tours, or village walks. Return to Nairobi via the SGR train from Mombasa Terminus after your holiday.

The journey, step by step.
Nairobi → Mombasa SGR → Malindi/Watamu
Board the SGR train from Nairobi (First Class or Economy—please specify). Report at least 30–60 minutes before departure. Upon arrival at Mombasa Terminus, take a shared road transfer (approx. 3 hours) to your hotel in Malindi or Watamu. Check in at the hotel and spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or at the hotel pool. In the evening, enjoy sunset views along the coast and overnight stay at your hotel.
Full Day at the Beach
After breakfast at the hotel (as per hotel meal plan), spend the day relaxing on the beach, swimming, or exploring the town. Optional activities include:
Dhow boat rides along the coast
Snorkeling or diving in Watamu Marine Park
Cultural visits to Malindi town or Gede Ruins
Nature walks or marine conservation tours
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for sunset relaxation and overnight stay.
Malindi/Watamu → Mombasa SGR → Nairobi
After breakfast at the hotel (as per hotel meal plan), check out and take the shared road transfer back to Mombasa Terminus (approx. 3 hours). Board the SGR train back to Nairobi in First Class or Economy, concluding your 3-day Malindi & Watamu beach holiday.
