Overview;

This great migration safari package is for travelers willing to join other travelers visiting the Masai Mara by sharing the transport cost in either a 4x4 Landcruiser or tour van. All travelers are guaranteed a window seat.

Our Group Joining Safari Tour explores the famous Masai Mara Game reserve offering a memorable experience to witness the annual great migration of Wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and other herbivores which migrate in Millions from Serengeti National park (Tanzania) entering Masai Mara (Kenya) and vice versa. This natural wonder takes place every year from July to October at the crocodile infested Mara river where all the drama takes place with cheetahs, lions and other predators waiting to make a kill.

Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1; Nairobi to Masai Mara

Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport where our representative will meet you and give you a short safari briefing and will introduce you to your safari guide. Afterwards you will proceed to Masai Mara, driving along the slopes of the Great Rift valley having a short stop over. Proceed, and later on arrive at Masai Mara. Check in at your hotel & have lunch. Later in the afternoon have your first game drive safari exploring the rolling plains of Masai Mara for a chance to spot the big five and other wild animals. As the sun goes down return to camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2; Masai Mara Full Day

On your second day in Masai Mara you will leave camp/ lodge with packed lunch after you have had breakfast. During your safari you will get a chance to sport an array of birds and animal species together with large numbers of zebras, giraffes, gazelles, buffalos grazing. After having a picnic lunch in the plain savannah, leave for Mara River and Talek river home to hippos, crocodiles and the staging ground of nature’s great spectacles of over a million wildebeests crossing. Before return to camp/ lodge you can opt for a Masai village visit where you can immerse and learn more about the Maasai people together with their culture. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 3; Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and proceed with your journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the Airport to catch your flight back home or further arrangements.
