Overview
The Widebeest Migration also known as The Great Migration is one of the most spectacular natural events that occurs annualy in Masai Mara, a top Africa safari destination, This event is widely recorgnised as the "Seven Wonders of The Natural World". This event takes place between the month of July and October, with no specific starting and ending dates. The Great Migration involves more than one million Wildebeests which are joined by Zebras, Gazells and other habivores crossing the crocodile infested Mara River from Serengeti National Park (Tanzania) entering Masai Mara National Reserve (Kenya) in search of greener pasture.
The search of greener pasture is always dramatic at the Mara River, where the wildebeest face the dangers of the Nile crocodiles lurking in the waters. On The other end Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs and other predators wait to hunt down the weak and Vunrable. This is a once in a lifetime safari experience that showcase the raw power and beauty of the natural world.
